1. Introduction

This Google Workspace add-on, AI Mermaid for Google Docs & Slides, is developed by AI Mermaid. By installing and using our AI Mermaid Chart Generator, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Google Workspace Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the chart generator. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Google Workspace Extension following any changes signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Description of the Service

Our Google Workspace Extension is designed to help users create, edit, and manage Mermaid diagrams in Google Docs and Google Slides using AI-powered natural language input and professional Mermaid editing. The chart generator is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

4. User Responsibilities

• Compliance: You agree to use the AI Mermaid Chart Generator in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• No Unauthorized Use: You agree not to misuse the chart generator or attempt to access it by any means other than through the interface provided by us.
• Data Security: While we do not collect any data, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Google Workspace account and any activities that occur under your account while using our extension.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Google Workspace Extension. By using the chart generator, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: All rights, title, and interest in and to the chart generator, including all intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of AI Mermaid.
• License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the AI Mermaid Chart Generator in accordance with these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI Mermaid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the AI Mermaid Chart Generator.
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein.
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the chart generator by any third party.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Mermaid and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the AI Mermaid Chart Generator.
• Your violation of any term of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right while using our chart generator.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the AI Mermaid Chart Generator immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the chart generator will immediately cease.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of EU, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
